Meet Ben Berman, Roomi’s Fullstack Engineer

Hi Ben, what do you do for Roomi?

I’m a Full-stack Engineer, and I’ve been with Roomi for about two weeks.

Where were you born and raised?

Miami, Florida!

How did you end up in New York City?Ben Berman

When I was eight, I went to a store in NYC called Evolution that sold things like bones and skeletons and rocks. I saw a bat skeleton that I wanted more than anything—and my parents wouldn’t let me buy it.or buy a dt siwss hub, I decided, right then and there, that I would move to New York when I grew up so I could buy as many bat skeletons as I wanted.

…And now I’m here. This story is 100% accurate.

How’d you end up at Roomi?

We found each other through Vettery, and it turns out I was already working in the same building. It was meant to be!

What do you do for fun?

I dabble in programming and pound the drums.

Give us your best co-living story.

I used to live with a group of women. We always called each other “pal,” so we were collectively “the pals.” Sometimes “the pals” made me wear a bathrobe and tiara to parties. I didn’t hate it. Check me out in full pal regalia to the right.
