![Since our roommate is moving in with his girlfriend we are looking for a new roommate. It’s a great location near the Jefferson L train stop in Bushwick. You’d be subletting from 1/1/25-2/1/25 then we’d all sign onto a new lease from 2/1/25 - 2/1/26 together!
About the apartment:
- Rent: ~$1085 / month + utilities (~$100)
- Move-In Date: 1/1 (can figure something out prorated for earlier if needed) to sublet through 2/1 then sign a lease for a year
- Room: Roughly 8'4" x 8'4" + a 5' x 2'5" closet. (It is unfurnished, the bed in the pictures is a double bed, but it and all furniture will be moved out)
- Location: Suydam and Wyckoff. Two short blocks (0.1 miles) from the Jefferson St.- L stop.
- Apartment: 4 bed / 2 bath. The kitchen area has a lot of counter space and is good for cooking. And we are open to making changes to the living room area!
- Accessibility: It’s a third floor walk up, so multiple flights of stairs to get to the room + ~5 steps to get into the building.
- Pets: No pets unfortunately, because of allergies amongst the roommates and the lease.
About Us:
- Roommate 1: A mid 30s cis gay man who works Human Resources for a large fashion brand. Lived in the apartment for the past five years and enjoys Broadway (any and all theater), cinema, history buff, Disney, fashion, exploring the city (been here 15 years and still love finding new places). Love an old fashioned cocktail lounge as well as a dive bar; comfortable in a suit and sweats; love baking (though need to get back into it). Volunteers once a month for different charities depending on their needs. [Who you’d share primary bathroom with]
- Roommate 2: Late 30s, cis gay man. I spend my days going to the gym, walking around the city, listening to non fiction audio books (I love to share what I learn in them), and hanging out with friends. I really enjoy board games, and I play in social lgbtq dodgeball and bowling leagues. I like finding cheap produce and cooking vegetarian food (and am happy for you to eat some of it). I grew up with 3 brothers and have always enjoyed having roommates around and hanging out!
- Roommate 3: Early 30s man, works in film, enjoys the Bushwick nightlife and Burning Man.
Timeline: We are hoping to show people the place this Wednesday (12/4) and Saturday (12/7) and then decide + submit someone to our landlord on Sunday.
