I'm leaving town until December and need someone to take my room! Move-ins as soon as the 15th and as late as the 1st will be accepted. No option to extend--this is hands down the best place I've lived since moving to NYC and I will definitely be coming back. But I'd be happy to have the room occupied in the meantime, and share such a great spot with someone cool.

The room is FULLY FURNISHED, with a lofted bed and full-sized memory foam mattress, a chest of drawers, a nice desk, and my speaker towers if you'd like to set up an audio system. It's on the smaller side, but made much more spacious thanks to the loft bed and a decently-sized closet. You'll be getting a surprising amount of sunlight, especially in the mornings, and the view right now is very nice and very green.

The apartment itself is even better than the room--it's a 4-bed with three (male) roommates, but I've never once felt crowded; the guys are chill and open-minded, and we've got 2.5 bathrooms between us, spread across two whole floors: the ground floor, and a private basement level with private backyard access. One room in the basement has been converted to a rehearsal space for musicians, since a lot of us here make music. Someone creative will feel right at home, but either way the rehearsal space is used respectfully with regards to those of us upstairs; if you need silence, you'll get it. The apartment also comes with a dishwasher and easy laundry access through the basement, both of which I've been very much appreciating.

Since I'll be off the grid, part of this process may be conducted by my roommates, and payment will be handled through Zelle exclusively. A background check will be conducted beforehand, but barring anything serious I don't intend on rejecting people if I can help it. Mostly I just want someone who seems like a good fit, who'll appreciate the space, and who'll get along well with my roommates.
